Redmond Rally

On August 10th we left, along with two other couples, to attend the FMCA rally which was held at fairgrounds in Redmond, OR.   Bobby & I volunteered, along with Joan & Norm Brookhart to man the Havasu RV Resort booth.   Had a great time plus saw several owners from the resort and many friends.    Looked over the new coaches, decided we have a great coach (besides it's paid for...LOL).  We did decide to upgrade our blinds so by the time we get to Havasu, we'll look like a new coach.    There were lots of classes, etc. that we attended.   One of which was how to create this blog....we'll see how good I really am.

Entertainment on Thurs evening was wonderful.....Texas Tenors.   What an amazing group.   No wonder they won America's got talent.   Tried to take a video....still need a lot of work on in this area!!!!!

Vacation with Rog & Winnie to Larabee

Spent the first week in August with Rog, Winnie and their two youngest grandchildren.   We went Crabbing on Sat, got 14.   They were so good.   Left Rog's house on Sunday 1st and headed for Larabee State Park in Bellingham, WA.   Beautiful state park.   Great place to explore for starfish, etc.  The girls and I would go every day and try and see/find something.   Rog brought his shrimp pots, so we were luck to catch a few.....enough for one good meal.    Weather was great.....no rain until we left on Friday....so much better than past 3-4 years.   Went to Custer, WA and saw Larry & Linda Vandehoef.   They have a beautiful home in this area.  They took us to one of the local golf course, very, very nice and yes, difficult.   Bobby played well....I did OK, Rog wished he'd had stayed at camp (LOL)....actually he did very well for only playing once or twice a year. We also played Battle Creek in Marysville, beautiful course.  Very hilly and not a walking course.
