Moul Falls was our destination today. It's about a 5 mile hike but the results certainly are worth it! An amazing water fall but a little tough to get the great shots.
Came home and played on the paddleboard that afternoon, love our new toy!

Travel day, left Salmon Arm around 9, took us about 3 hrs to arrive in Clearwater, BC, we are staying at Dutch Resort, which is located right on the lake. Our view of the lake is spectacular, later our plan is to tour the Gray Wells Provincial Park that's infamous for it's waterfalls.
After setting up, headed to the park, where we saw three of the most spectacular waterfalls. First one was Spartan, next was Dawson and last was Hemlicken. It was the most impressive to me. You just can't imagine the beauty that was there! Tomorrow we'll see more waterfalls.
Got home around 4:30, it's hot...close to 90, so we decided it would be a good time to try out our new paddleboard. Went and tested the water, warm enough that if I fall, it wasn't going to kill me!!!!
Took the paddleboard out of her box, blew it up (tougher than I gave it credit for, but fairly easy for Bobby) and then carried it to the lake....ok, Bobby carried it!!!!
Honestly, it's harder that we thought....get your balance is harder than anticipated, in fact, I fell in twice try to get the hang. Bobby took a video, sure it's posted on FB by now. He tried it after me, didn't have the phone at that time, tomorrow I'll capture him, although he never fell in today!!!! It's a lot of work on the legs and core muscles, so I should be in excellent shape by time I get to Havasu!!! Yeah, right!

Had breakfast with Bruce and Sharon at their place near Eagle Bay, BC. It's a isolated location but located in an area with lots of trees, etc. They share the space with Sharon's sister. There's also a cabin on the 8 acres, which allows for visitors to stay, that would be us next time.
They've just bought a park model in same park as Brian & Dorothy over in Mara Lake area. It will be much better, as not as isolated.
On the way home, took a tour of the Dreamcycle Motorcycle museum in Blind Bay, BC. Great museum that's a private collection of the owner Mike. I think he has 7 bikes on loan, otherwise these are his!

Bobby played golf with Brian and Bruce (both have lots in HRVR), while I caught up on
stuff around the coach.

Had breakfast at Brian and Dorothy's place at Mara
Lake. What a beautiful place they have,
it's a park model, right on the water in a gated community.
After breakfast, they took us on a boat ride, which took us
out of Mara lake and then into Shuswap Lake, it's a tremendously large lake,
that's shaped like an H. On the way back
to their house, stopped at Hyde Mountain Golf Course, for a snack. We parked the boat at their dock and they
brought a shuttle to take us to the clubhouse.
Very cool!
Said our goodbyes after being on the lake for about 6 hours
and then headed to my cousin Donna's home.
There we had dinner with the family.
Great to see everyone, including her daughter April, Loran (April's
husband) and Jim (Donna's husband) sister and brother-n-law (Joann and Ted).

Drive from Hope to Salmon Arm is so stunning. The mountains are just stunning, they still
have snow on the peaks, making them more stunning. Drove past the Hope slide, which occurred about in 1965. Massive land slide that did kill individuals, unfortunately.
Arrived in Salmon Arm around noon and then headed into town
to locate the visitors center. Picked up
several brochures, then did a little grocery shopping. It's raining, so we decided to bag the site
seeing until tomorrow.

Left Arlington around 9, headed to Mt Vernon, where we
washed the salt water off the coach.
Then headed to Larry & Linda's place in Lynden, WA, where we had
lunch with them along with Coco and Pam & Doug Wylie. It was wonderful seeing these friends, who
also winter in HRVR.
Arrived at the border around 2:30, they searched the coach
(note: don't tell them you own weapons, even though they WEREN'T on board), as
just wanted to confirm we actually left our guns in Havasu. That took an hour, so we arrived in Hope
around 6, as we made a stop at Costco to pick up chicken for dinner.
